East 20th Avenue, Nichols Street, Norene Street Pedestrian Improvements PH 1
- Beginning on June 3rd, 2024, East 20th Avenue will start road construction. The work that will take place stretches from Bragaw to the Tikishla Trailhead. This work will impact the following:
- Street Parking - From approximately June 3rd 2024 to July 31st, 2024, there will be no street parking allowed along E 20th Ave.
- Business Access - This project will impact businesses during the week, causing impacts to traffic.
- Private Driveways - As work will continue, driveways will be inaccessible during certain phases of this job. We will provide adequate time for notice to inform homeowners who will be directly affected by this construction.
- Trail Access - The Trailhead to Tikishla Park will be rerouted to 19th Ave during construction.

-PAVING UPDATE: Paving operations is tentatively scheduled for August 22nd, 2024 -
-The tentative date for paving operations is August 22nd, 2024. Residents and businesses will be notified 72 hours prior to paving operations.
-During Paving Operations, there will be limited access on E 20th Ave. There will be no access to driveways for the entirety of the paving operations.
-All vehicles will need to be moved from E 20th Ave. No street parking will be allowed until paving is complete.
-Dates are subject to change due to weather.
